It’s time for a Finnish film night! This coming Wednesday, February 22, at 6 p.m. I’ll be showing a film called Prinsessa – a movie based on a true story of a woman who believes to be a genuine princess.
Synopsis: Prinsessa – Princess (2010)
The movie is based on a true story of Anna Lappalainen – a cabaret dancer who was given away as a child and placed in several foster homes. In the end, she ends up in a mental institution where the staff realize that she believes to be a member of the British royalty. Despite her condition, she manages to bring joy wherever she goes capturing the hearts of those around her.The location of the film night is the same as previously, Dwinelle B-4. The movie is shown in Finnish with English subtitles. Everyone is welcome - feel free to bring friends!
